Wow not 1 person of color Air Force and Navy pilots should speak up!!! Unless you like it with hardly no black men and women flying with you. Can't say they are not applying because My nephew applied and was Cum Laude
Oh so this is basically some sort of selection where the one who stands on stage gets to know which aircraft they get to fly? Sorry I don't know how that system works lol

I think if you choose to be trained in the T-38 you get a fighter/ bomber or FAIP if you do bad. if your on a T-38 and do well you have a really high chance of getting a fighter. people not on the t38 will get transport or tankers. surprised i never see a awacs or electronic warfare .

Let me get this straight. Is this the setting where the students hear their follow on assignments for the first time? And why were those students cheering when they received a 135 or 130 assignment? Back in the day we were rank order and called into a room and picked our assignments, ie #1 went in first followed by #2 & etc.
@@CplHenderson Dan, I can't believe these students were any different than I as a student years ago. I received a fighter out UPT but that did not hurt me in getting hired by two major airlines.
@@CplHenderson If students do not like G's nor contact what are they doing in UPT in the first place? Cripes, they sound like my first WSO who would whine if I pulled over 4 G's in the break. jcheck6 <~~~~~ shaking his head wondering if they have "safe rooms" as well in UPT.
Not enough Gs in the world could make up for unsustainable deployment tempo, poor quality of life, and garbage bases of ACC. I'll gladly cheer for my 135 in Florida/England/PNW. All the "back in my day"-ers seem to have all left, must have not really been that good, ehh?
The students who were assigned heavies already knew they were getting heavies right? Cause they already track selected and were training in T-1s, correct?

36:20 That does it for me ! <3
U-28? 🥲
When that guy got the a10 I felt him my heart just got so happy because one day I will be flying that thing 😊
Must suck to get a plane you don’t like after so many years of hard work and dreaming
I had and still have such a big smile on my face thanks to this great video
The guy who got faked out by the KC-135 and got the Osprey has me crying 😂
RIP to the Osprey Pilot

This gives me such a wonderful feeling watching those aviators who’ve worked so hard for so long finally achieve their dream assignments.
Woo a rare cv-22 drop
This seems fun
Hopefully someday!!
Even I just watching this got all pumped up when that guy got the A 10

I’d take that A10 in a heartbeat!

I absolutely loved it when that female Lt. got the F-16. That's the reaction of someone who's worked very hard for a dream and achieved it.

this is outstanding in every way. My Dad was a C-121 navigator.
Man this is so motivating, seeing all the guys’ hard work pay off and them being proud and happy with their assignments! School boy mode is on baby!
Wish I could say the same. Very motivating indeed however my motto “fuck school” tends not to pay off in life
Only 3 people got fighters!( f-16s) It is competitive to get fighters because it only makes up 15-20% of Air Force Aircraft.
AviationDisneyUSAF TV Well and also they track selected so a lot of people probably chose T-1.
Most of them guys picked heavy track. If you select fighter track you’re more than likely to end up in a F16.
Wait from what I'm seeing this looks like a T-1 track but why in the world did F-16s appear?
